Freeway Bike Hike (Archived)

The Freeway Bike Hike is a fantastic event along a closed-off section of the Mitchell Freeway in Perth. This is a great opportunity for our tandems to participate in fun, safe event with thousands of other cyclists. Some years, we have had 12 or more of our tandems registered.

With the smooth wide surface of the freeway, the temptation is to “put your foot down”, the record for one of our tandems being 46 minutes for the 30km trip. Others take it easier, but everyone enjoys the ride and the coffee and breakfast at the end.
