On Monday 29th of March, Beau, Trevor and Hab met up with the Nicholson brothers and their pilots and accompanied them for the start of their epic Trans-Australian Tandem Ride. The four are well equipped with new Canondale tandems and lots of new cycling kit from their sponsors.

It was great to meet them and guide them as far as the Lakes Roadhouse avoiding most of the peak hour traffic.

They’re going to have a lot of hard riding in front of them. I must say that after climbing the Darling Escarpment and pushing into the easterly, I (Beau) was very happy to turn around and use the tailwind and descent to roll home.
